Semester II Week#10 Honors College Experience

On March 28th I set on a student panel for the Transfer Success Symposium here at ETSU. This event held faculty, staff, and administration not only from ETSU be many colleges that have student that transfer to ETSU from their institution. During this panel, four of my peers and I was asked random questions from the moderator. The questions involved our endeavors throughout the transfer process and insight on how we became engaged on campus. Dr. Carla Warner from the ACTS office here at ETSU told us after the meeting that the response from individuals that attended the conference enjoyed our session the most. I was happy to have had this opportunity to help give my feedback on such an important process. When I signed up to attend, I was under the impression that it would be students I would be talking to. This was not the case. I found myself put on the spot a bit. It all turned out positive and was able to have my voice heard on the topic. Being on the Student Transfer Committee has afforded my another chance to expand my knowledge and help serve my school.
